Lead a high-performing sales team while living where most people vacation. Kendall Ford of Bozeman is looking for an experienced automotive leader who can drive results, develop people, and manage a profitable, fast-moving used vehicle inventory in one of the most desirable markets in the country.

We are seeking a motivated, energetic, and experienced Used Car Sales Manager to lead our pre-owned operations. This is not an entry-level position. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in automotive sales leadership, inventory management, team development, and driving profitability in a fast-paced dealership environment.
What You’ll Do
• Lead, coach, motivate, and develop the entire sales team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Work directly with sales staff to improve performance, closing ratios, and customer satisfaction
• Assist in structuring and closing deals while supporting daily sales operations
• Manage used vehicle inventory, including acquisition strategy, appraisals, pricing, aging, and merchandising
• Source and purchase vehicles through trades, auctions, and other inventory channels
• Monitor market trends and vehicle values to maintain a competitive and profitable inventory mix
• Ensure inventory is properly stocked, photographed, merchandised, and market-ready
• Conduct inventory reviews and work closely with leadership to maintain healthy turn rates and profitability
• Lead sales meetings, training, and ongoing coaching to develop team performance and accountability
• Support finance and deal structuring processes as needed
• Maintain compliance with dealership policies, processes, and industry regulations
• Drive department growth while meeting profitability and performance goals

What We’re Looking For
• Previous automotive sales management experience required
• Proven leadership ability and track record of success
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
• Strong understanding of used vehicle inventory management and market trends
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and professionalism
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required
