If you like working on cars and want more than just another hourly job, Kendall Ford of Meridian is looking for Quick Lane Technicians who want an opportunity to build a career in the automotive industry.

This is an entry-level technician position, but we don’t want it to be your last position. Our goal is to find people who want to learn, develop their skills, complete manufacturer training, and earn opportunities to advance into higher-level technician positions.

Experienced automotive technicians can build careers earning $70,000, $80,000, $100,000+ per year, and Quick Lane is a great place to start building the skills and experience needed to get there.

What We Offer
• Starting pay of $20.00 per hour
• A clear opportunity to advance beyond Quick Lane
• Ford training and technician development opportunities
• Hands-on experience working on customer vehicles every day
• Opportunities to learn from experienced technicians and shop leadership
• Paid Time Off and Paid Sick Leave
• Medical, Dental and Vision insurance

• Tire rotations and balancing
• Fluid inspections and maintenance
• Multi-point vehicle inspections
• Battery, filter and other maintenance services
• Basic brake repairs
• Proper documentation of inspections and repairs
• Manufacturer-recommended maintenance

Previous lube or automotive experience is preferred, but we’re also interested in mechanically inclined people with the right attitude and a desire to learn.

We’re Looking for Someone Who Wants to Grow

You don’t need to have your entire career figured out before applying. You do need to be dependable, willing to learn, comfortable working with your hands, and interested in getting better at what you do.

If your goal is to eventually become a full-line automotive technician, diagnostic technician, diesel technician, or another highly skilled automotive professional, we want to give you an opportunity to start building that career. This isn’t just about changing oil. It’s about learning the business, developing your skills, and earning your next opportunity.

Physical Requirements

Work is performed primarily indoors in a shop environment. The position requires standing and walking throughout the shift as well as frequent pushing, pulling, crouching, squatting, reaching and kneeling. Technicians regularly use automotive hand and power tools and may occasionally be required to lift, push, or pull between 20 and 100 pounds.
